Preparation : | Produced in BALB/c x ICR F1 mice using highly pure (>98%) recombinant human IL-12 as the immunizing antigen. This IgG1K antibody was purified from ascites fluid by Protein A affinity chromatography. |
Catalog #: | 500-M12 |
Source : | Mice |
Formulation : | A sterile filtered antibody solution was lyophilized from PBS. |
Stability : | The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20oC. Frozen aliquots are stable for at least six weeks at 2-8oC or for at least six months at -20oC. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
Reconstitution: | Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of 1.0 mg/ml. |
Applications : | |
Neutralization | Data Not Available. |
Elisa | In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100μl/well), a concentration of 2.0-4.0 μg/ml of this antibody will detect at least 1000 pg/ml of recombinant human IL-12 when used with PeproTechs biotinylated antigen affinity purified anti-human IL-12 (500-P154GBt) as the detection antibody at a concentration of approximately 4.0-8.0 μg/ml. |
Western Blot | To detect hIL-12 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.50-1.0 μg/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hIL-12 is 0.5-1.0 ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions. |
